Details

This 1965 Austin Healey MKIII is the nicest Healey we have ever seen. Finished in Ebony (original color) over Sandlewood, with a Black Interior and Black Top. This is a matching numbers Healey according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT).

 

Restored by one of the best Healey restorers in the country, Healey Lane of Riverside CA, this car comes with a photo documentation of its careful restoration.  Finished in July of 2006, it has only traveled about 2000 miles since.  Everything was restored using as many original parts as possible.

2 Stage Urethane paint process

Complete Engine and transmission rebuild, using new parts.

Grade 5 Fasteners, nuts and bolts

New chrome wire wheels, with 60 spokes, and original brass knockoffs

New Brakes, brake lines, and master cylinder

New steering components, seals, and joints

All new interior from Austin Healey Spares in the UK. Ambla covered seats, with chrome piping, and Black English wool carpets

New windshield, door, glass, and window rubber

New suspension, shocks, and spring components in rear

Walnut dash, and all of the original gauges have been rebuilt, and calibrated by Palo Alto Speedometer

New convertible top

All new lighting components, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals

Original tool kit, jack, owners manual, and knock off hammer.
